As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Cypress Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing the highest level of care and compassion to our patients. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service to our residents, and we are seeking a qualified and caring CNA to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, walking, and using the bathroom
- Record patient information, including medication administration and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including the upkeep of patient rooms and common areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients, as well as perform other physical tasks as needed
