Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,917 a week in all, a taxable rate of $45.84 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room. This position provides emergency nursing care during a 12-hour evening shift in support of patient and unit needs. The assignment is scheduled from 11/16/2026 through 03/07/2027, with weekend and holiday coverage requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. A minimum of every other weekend and holiday coverage is required; no call is required.
• Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency room specialty experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), required before starting
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), active certification or proof of course completion before starting
• New York nursing license or proof of application with application date
• Epic electronic health record experience within the past 2 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel nursing experience and charge experience.
• Additional Information: No block schedules are available. Assignment length is 16–26 weeks.
