Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room – Delano. Provides coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. The role includes supervising assigned nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care, applying critical thinking, and supporting safe, effective patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from an approved provider; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved provider.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and acute care facility experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to members of the healthcare team.
