Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,312 a week in all, a taxable rate of $25 an hour plus $1,312.23 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is based at a Level II Trauma Center with stroke certification, focusing on acute care patient rehabilitation. This role involves working independently in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing specialized therapy services to adult and geriatric patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment period is from 11/17/2026 to 02/16/2027.
• Required Qualifications: California license, at least 2 years of experience in acute care, trauma experience is highly preferred, BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke, neuro, orthopedic, and cardiac rehabilitation, familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive inpatient physical therapy services, assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans, utilize assistive devices, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable working independently, may be required to float to other nearby facilities, and are expected to work 3 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle. First-time travelers are welcome with relevant acute care experience, and must meet all certification and licensing requirements.
