Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) for a position in the OR specialty.   • Position Description:

Support surgical teams by preparing the operating room and assisting during procedures. Responsible for maintaining sterile technique, handling instruments, and ensuring patient safety during surgeries. Candidates must have strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine cases.

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements:

BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.

  • Schedule:

Evenings shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.

  • Additional Information:

Candidates will participate in unit-specific orientation with one shift preceptor. Experience with Cerner Surginet electronic medical records and strong familiarity with OR procedures are preferred. Call coverage is required approximately 1-2 weeknights per week, with weekend call about once per month from end of shift Friday to Monday 6:30 am.
