Job Details

• Position Description: Assists nurses by performing various basic care activities related to services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education. Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Experience: 0 years minimum required.
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Float Position.
• Shift Information: Rotating shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Includes preparing food trays, feeding patients, recording food and liquid intake and output, sterilizing equipment and supplies, and maintaining confidentiality of resident care information.
• Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-related resident care; work effectively as part of a team; make independent decisions; and relate information concerning a resident’s condition. Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds and meet all physical and sensory requirements of the job.
