The Role
As a caregiver for our veterans, you will provide essential support that helps them maintain their independence, safety, and dignity. This isn't just a job - it’s an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a hero.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engaging conversation.
- Daily Living Support: Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Specialized Care: Support for veterans with mobility challenges or memory care needs (dementia/Alzheimer's).
- Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate care notes to ensure our veterans receive the best possible support through the VA program.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have at least 1 Year Experience
CNA or HHA preferred but not required.
Must have Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or be willing to obtain it upon hire.
- TB Clearance required (must have been completed within the last 90 days or within 7 days after hire).
- A compassionate heart and a deep respect for our veteran community.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
