Position Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide safe mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration according to the client’s care plan.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Follow individualized care plans, infection-control procedures, and all applicable care standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Current CNA, PCA or HHA certification
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required
• Current TB Results required
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client locations throughout Prince William County.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and compassionate.
• Ability to provide respectful care while protecting client privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
