Regional Director of Nursing – Skilled Nursing Facilities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Director of Nursing to support and oversee clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to facility nursing teams.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staff training, education, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with administrators and directors of nursing to improve outcomes.
• Conduct audits, assessments, and provide actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (active and in good standing).
• Must have prior skilled nursing/long-term care experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines and survey processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between facilities.
