Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide supportive care to hospice patients throughout the McConnelsville community.

As a hospice STNA, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with patients and families while helping provide comfort, dignity, and support during their hospice journey.

What You'll Do

• Provide personal care and assistance to patients according to the individualized plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate nurse.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and caregivers.
• Communicate effectively with members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospice care procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
• Previous healthcare, hospice, home health, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care.
• Dependable and professional.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following the established plan of care.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as applicable.
