Nursing Services Assistant

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for Nursing Administration including internal and external business partners. Manages schedules, payroll, coordinates travel arrangements, processes business expenses, and coordinates meetings and events. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact. Completes special projects as assigned. Provides project management assistant for Nursing Administration and Nursing Directors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Degree in business or relevant field preferred.

Experience: 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications: Certified Medical Administrative Assistant preferred.

Other: Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G., clerical/administrative.
