We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) to join our wonderful team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Overlea! As a CNA-I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their overall health and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and dignity. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with medication administration, as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maryland
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and precision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
