Responsibilities
- Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations .
- Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
- Adjusting care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs .
- Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs .
- Handle admission of new residents .
- Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care .
- Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
NOW HIRING: 7AM-7PM Saturdays, and Sunday
Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Weekend Nurse Supervisor :
- Previous Experience as a Weekend Nurse Supervisor preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- At least one (2) year of clinical experience
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Long term care experience preferred
