Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a VIDEO MONITOR TECHNICIAN to join our VISUAL MONITORING team!

The Visual Monitoring Technician (VMT) plays an important role in Aspirus’ patient safety program. This on-site position monitors patients through live video using portable cameras placed in patient rooms. VMTs help support the safety of patients who may be at high risk for falls, removing medical devices or lines, or who may have conditions such as dementia, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, or withdrawal concerns. VMTs also help support staff safety when additional patient observation is needed.

HOURS: Part-time, 0.6 FTE | 48 hours biweekly | 12-hour shifts | Rotating day/night schedule

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge and skills necessary for this position normally obtained through completion of a high school diploma. Healthcare related training such as EMT, MA, or nursing assistant beneficial.
• Previous healthcare experience beneficial.
