Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for our Full-Time Director of Nursing (DON) opportunity. We are a premier resident-focused care provider dedicated to delivering the highest quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
About the Role
As a Director of Nursing (DON) , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. Director of Nursing (DON) will provide strategic leadership to our nursing team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our senior living community. Your expertise will enable you to develop and implement effective care plans, monitor resident outcomes, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide vision and leadership to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and resident-centered care
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for nursing services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and integration
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
- Develop and manage budgets for nursing services and programs
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of experienced licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a senior living or long-term care setting
- Proven leadership and management experience in a nursing setting
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of adult gerontology and geriatric care
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
