7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays Required As Needed

Job Description

Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are crucial in providing specialized care for patients requiring immediate attention. They must possess the ability to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients, prioritizing their medical and mental health needs effectively. The ideal candidates will be trained in handling a diverse range of trauma situations and be prepared to take decisive actions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessments of patients with varying medical and mental health conditions.
• Provide immediate care in emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and clinical skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an Emergency Department.
• ED experience within the past six months is a must.
• Demonstrated level of performance and practice in the nursing field.

Certifications/Licensure

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS-AHA.
• ACLS.
• Telemetry.
• PALS.
• NIHSS.
• CEU Contact Stroke: 4 Hours.
