Surgical Tech - Cardiac Robotics and Trauma

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts will rotate between days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required, with a call response time of 30 minutes.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech with a minimum of 2 years of Level 1 Trauma experience and recent travel experience. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant surgical procedures. Candidates must be strong in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team by providing instruments, sutures, and other materials as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain surgical instruments and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Recent travel experience in a surgical role.
• Certifications in Surgical Technology (CST) preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cardiac Robotics, LVADs, and Heart Transplant procedures.
