Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with the facility's goals and objectives
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Foster a culture of excellence, respect, and open communication among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with the medical staff and other departments to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the nursing department, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes
• Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• 3 years experience as a Director of Nursing
• Current New Jersey licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Proven track record of successful leadership, with a strong focus on quality patient care and staff development
