Facility: Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Location: West Orange, NJ
Schedule: PRN Weekends | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $43–$50 per hour

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team on a PRN basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing operations during assigned shifts.
- Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff to promote safe, high-quality resident care.
- Coordinate staffing assignments and address coverage needs.
- Conduct rounds to monitor resident conditions, care delivery, and staff performance.
- Perform resident assessments and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Oversee medication administration and treatments for accuracy and adherence to orders.
- Review care plans and documentation, and support discharge planning.
- Assist with admissions to ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Address resident, family, and staff concerns, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Support regulatory compliance, survey readiness, audits, and inspections.
- Provide hands-on nursing care when needed.
- Contribute to performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
- At least one year of supervisory or management experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
