Abernathy Home Care is seeking an experienced Bilingual Home Care Scheduler to join our growing team in Stoneham, MA.
We're looking for someone who understands the unique demands of home care scheduling and can confidently manage caregiver assignments, last-minute call-outs, client needs, and ongoing schedule changes.
If you have at least two years of direct home care scheduling experience, are fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we'd love to connect with you.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules based on client needs, availability, and qualifications.
- Manage open shifts, caregiver call-outs, and last-minute scheduling changes.
- Communicate regularly with caregivers, clients, families, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
- Match caregivers with clients based on scheduling needs, location, skills, and client preferences.
- Coordinate scheduling for new client starts and changes to existing services.
- Work collaboratively with clinical, recruiting, and operations teams to address scheduling needs.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and client information.
- Resolve scheduling challenges efficiently while maintaining professionalism and excellent communication.
- Participate in the agency's on-call rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional home care scheduling experience.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of home care scheduling processes, caregiver coordination, and client service needs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to unexpected scheduling changes.
- Experience using scheduling software and maintaining accurate client and caregiver records.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $21.45–$31.25 per hour , depending on experience.
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
