How this article is put together
- Each quoted sentence comes from an edition word for word: first its summary, then its findings in the order the edition gives them, one per figure, skipping a finding that would only repeat numbers already quoted. No edition gives more than 3 sentences and no section more than 4 editions. The code picks them by these rules; nobody picks them by hand.
- Each number opens the spot in the edition where it is stated: the table row, the figure, the finding or the summary. Frozen editions do not change, so a link followed next year shows the same number.
- Two months are compared only on figures measured the same way in both, and the words "rose" and "fell" are used only when both months counted the same number of employers' job boards. When they did not, the two values are simply listed together.
- Reports without an edition for the month are not quoted, and a section with no edition is dropped.
