WellSpan Health is seeking a skilled, team-oriented General Surgeon (BE/BC) to join our established surgical team in Chambersburg, PA. This full-time opportunity offers a balanced mix of operative and clinic time, strong physician collaboration, and access to advanced technology - including a robust robotic surgery program.

Scope of Practice – Bread & Butter General Surgery - This position supports a broad mix of general surgery, including:

Surgical Procedures

• Hernia repairs
• Cholecystectomy
• Breast tumor excision
• Abdominal and thyroid surgeries
• Hernia repairs
• Colonoscopy

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

• Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Surgery residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required
