About the Position

Strides ABA is looking for caring and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to work with children with developmental disabilities in their homes or daycare settings.

You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help children learn new skills, follow behavior plans, and make progress toward their goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children.
• Follow treatment plans created by the BCBA.
• Track the child's progress and record session data.
• Work with the BCBA and communicate with families as needed.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
• Treat every child and family with kindness and respect.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete the required training to become an RBT.
• Reliable transportation for in-home and community sessions.
• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
• Willingness to learn ABA techniques and follow instructions.

Important Responsibilities

• Keep all client information confidential and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow all applicable child safety and reporting requirements.
• Follow safety procedures when working with clients.
