Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab, a leading Nursing Home in Tavernier, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the registered nurse or other healthcare professionals
- Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
- Support residents with their personal care needs, including incontinence care and mobility assistance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to goal-setting and problem-solving discussions
- Promote a positive work environment by maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful atmosphere
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights
