Hospital Medicine APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate)

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a per diem Hospital Medicine APP (nurse practitioner or physician associate) to join its established inpatient medicine team in Portland, Maine . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team in one of New England’s most desirable coastal communities.

Candidates should have minimum 2 years of post-certification experience.

Position Highlights

• Day Shift (0645-1845) and Night Shift (1845-0645) availability, with preference given to those who can work night shifts.
• Closed ICU with critical care providers on site.
• Manageable patient load that lends itself to exceptional patient care outcomes.
• Strong specialty support, ensuring timely consults and comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborative, team-based environment focused on quality, safety, and provider well-being.

Compensation Information

• $75.00 hourly rate.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
