Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the OT.
• Responsible for effective and efficient delivery and documentation of occupational therapy services as outlined in the residents' plan of care.
• Fully participates in patient care, staffing, and other related meetings, supervised by OT and DOR.
• Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a school of Occupation Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association and Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education standards.
• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License and able to practice in the state(s) of licensure.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
