Corning Radiation Oncology is a smaller department within the Corning Cancer Center. The department has one linear accelerator, Varian Trilogy that will be replaced later this year with a Varian TrueBeam. We have a full-time radiation oncologist, dosimetrist, dedicated RN, scheduler, and three full-time radiation therapists. On average, we treat 25 patients a day. CT SIMs are performed within the hospital's Diagnostic Imaging department during dedicated times. We are currently in the process of replacing our QA equipment and transitioning to RadMachine, a Radformation product.
