Position Highlights
- Flexible Supplemental scheduling with various day, evening, and night shifts available.
- Dedicated Hospitalist service for admissions and robust subspecialty support at each location.
- Integrated Epic EMR system across all clinics and hospitals.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Hourly rate of $285 an hour.
Practice Details
- 7 employed physicians in the Emergency Medicine group.
- Locations: Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, IL, IL Union County Hospital in Anna, IL, IL Crossroads Hospital in Mount Vernon, IL, and Red Bud Reg Hospital in Red Bud, IL
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) support .
- Shift Structure:
- Day Shift (7 AM – 7 PM) staffed with 1 physician & 1 APP .
- Night Shift (7 PM – 7 AM) staffed with 1 nocturnist physician & 1 APP .
- Average daily patient encounters: 55.
- Average daily admissions at Marion campus: 11.
- Referral base: ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers.
- Subspecialty support: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Neurology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Colorectal Surgery, and more.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, well-supported emergency medicine team in a growing healthcare system with a strong referral network and subspecialty support while having the flexibility of a Supplemental position .
