Job Summary

MRI Technologist, MRI. The position performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures across a range of patient populations and clinical settings. The role includes a Tuesday-Friday schedule with periodic weekend on-call coverage and an expected daily caseload of 22 patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week; on-call coverage is required every fifth weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) magnetic resonance certification, IEMA certification, and at least 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, and community hospital settings; intravenous starts, Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), contrast administration, and magnetic resonance imaging procedures involving the abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal studies, image post-processing, T1-weighted images, and T2-weighted images.
• Additional Information: The position supports a daily caseload of 22 patients and includes imaging procedures such as abdomen, adult acute care, adult outpatient, brain, cervical, chest, face and soft tissue of the neck, female pelvis, hip and bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, male pelvis, shoulder, and thoracic studies. Responsibilities include image post-processing, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral intravenous lines, and use of PACS.
