Attain Behavioral Health Beachwood is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team as a Behavioral Health Clinical Counselor. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with mental health and substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling services
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Utilize trauma-informed and culturally competent care practices in all interactions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other clinical staff to ensure holistic care
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referral sources
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and state regulations for counseling services
• Stay current with continuing education requirements and maintain licensure in good standing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Active LPC/LSW licensure in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use counseling
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating treatment plans
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting is preferred
• Knowledge of state Medicaid and private insurance processes is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
