Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. As an OTA with Morristown Post Acute, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients with various needs, including those with cardiac, orthopedic, renal, or pulmonary issues. Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions
• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and education, to promote patient independence and well-being
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in interprofessional education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field
• Completion of an accredited OTA program
• Possession of or eligibility for OTA certification in the state of New Jersey
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and promoting rehabilitation outcomes
