Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) All Shift

Eligible RNs and LPNs may qualify for up to $40,000 in student loan repayment plus a $10,000 stipend through the CMS Nurses for Nursing Homes program, for a total benefit of up to $50,000 in exchange for a three-year commitment at a qualifying nursing home.

Job Summary

Accela at Manalapan, a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As an LPN at Accela at Manalapan, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, resident-centered care to our patients. Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in accordance with individual care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and according to facility policies
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the RN Supervisor or appropriate clinical leadership
• Perform nursing assessments and document resident care accurately and timely
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident comfort, dignity, and independence
• Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a safe environment
• Participate in care planning and communicate relevant resident information to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records
• Respond appropriately to resident and family concerns
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey LPN license required
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required
• New graduates with an active NJ LPN license encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
