Job Summary

Endoscopy Technician, ENDO LAB – Location unspecified. This position involves assisting with the coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department. Responsibilities include equipment preparation, maintenance, and assisting in invasive endoscopic procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and adherence to sterile technique.

Job Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 11/15/2026 and ending on 02/13/2027.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS certification via the American Heart Association, and at least 1 year of experience working in an operating room or endoscopy unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: GI certification from the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA), prior experience in an endoscopy or operating room setting.
• Responsibilities: Meet expectations of the applicable healthcare organization, provide various service-related activities to support patient care in the endoscopy service, assist during endoscopic procedures, establish sterile fields, and handle endoscopy instruments.
• Additional information: The role involves rotating shifts and accepting on-call assignments, including one weeknight of on-call per week, and working two weekends a month (Saturday & Sunday). The role requires adeptness at maintaining sterile techniques and supporting procedural team activities.
