Trauma/Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Possible call and floating to support other units may be necessary.

Job Description

This position requires experienced candidates to work in the Trauma/Neuro ICU. Candidates must be proficient in critical care and ready to support a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage intravenous therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients and families during critical situations and provide education as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) from approved vendors.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Valid driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
