Inside
What verified professionals get
What employers really pay
Verified professionals report the hourly rate they were actually paid, the hours on offer and how long it took from applying to the first paycheck, per employer. You see the range and the median beside every report it comes from.
Who gets hired, and how
How far each verified professional got (applied, interviewed, offered, started), what the interview or skills check was like in general terms, and what they would tell a coworker before applying.
New well-paid jobs first
Jobs in your field that pay more than the typical job open in the US, emailed the morning we find them while you are acting on them, and never more than one email in a day otherwise. Well-paid jobs fill fast.
Summaries written for you
Every Monday, what verified professionals reported the week before, and for each employer an account of everything verified professionals reported about it, each point linked to the posts it comes from.
Verification
How every verified professional is checked
Never on your word alone, and never by asking you what your profile already says. Our verification agent reads your profile, looks up the public record itself, weighs it the way a credentialing desk would, and asks you for one thing only when it has to.
Public registries
We find your record in the federal NPI Registry by your name and state, or in your state's own license register where it publishes one, or on your state board's public lookup.
Your work email
If you signed up with the address at your hospital, health system, clinic or agency, that already counts. Otherwise we can send a code to it, and never write to it again.
Your number, only if needed
When the record cannot be found from your profile alone, we ask for the one thing that settles it: your NPI, your license number and state, or a page that shows it.
Questions
Before you apply
Who can join?
Healthcare workers in the United States with a license, a certification or a registration: nurses (RN, LPN, NP), certified nursing assistants and registered home health aides, physicians and physician assistants, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, therapists and their assistants, technologists, paramedics and EMTs, dental hygienists, counselors and social workers. New graduates are welcome once their license is issued.
Why only the US?
CareJobs. Now lists US healthcare jobs, and every license we can check is a US state's or the federal registry's. Keeping the room to one market keeps every report comparable for every verified professional. The rest of the site stays open to everyone.
How long does checking take?
Usually about a minute after you confirm. If the public record is close but not enough, we tell you the one thing that would settle it.
What do other verified professionals see about me?
Your first name, the initial of your last name, and your verified credential (for example "Registered nurse, Texas"). Never your email, your license number or your employer.
Can I share what I work on?
Share your experience: pay, differentials, hours, staffing, how hiring went, how your manager treated you. Never anything that could identify a patient. Nora, our AI moderator, reads every post before verified professionals see it, so a slip is caught and sent back to you to fix.
Does it cost anything?
No. CareJobs. Now is free for the people who do the work; some of its links (staffing agencies, a few job sites) pay it a referral fee, and the pages say so.
