Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Pulmonology, Neurointerventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, and IR are centered in the HVC.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and execute a strategic vision for the Division, recruit and retain outstanding faculty, expand high-quality clinical programs, advance quality, safety, and operational performance, strengthen educational programs, and promote research.
Key Responsibilities

- Take a leadership role in recruitment, retention, and professional development of IR faculty.
- Serve as UCHealth Clinical Director of Interventional Radiology, partnering with hospital and health-system leadership.
Diagnostic and Clinical Responsibilities
The Division Chief will participate in clinical duties, including:
- Maintaining an active clinical practice in IR and vascular imaging
- Weekend IR call duties shared equally by all Division faculty, with IR specialty-specific coverage
Faculty members have access to personal workstations for occasional work-from-home duties, with clinical responsibilities based primarily at the main hospital in Aurora.
