Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN)- NEW Student Loan Repayment Program

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and highly motivated Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Psychiatric care team. Working under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and in compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act, the RN plays a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care to children and adolescents experiencing acute behavioral health challenges. This role combines direct patient care with leadership in assessment, coordination, delegation, and quality improvement.

• Ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene in situations when protective holds and/or movements are deemed necessary.
• Physically able to perform, but not but not limited to: pivoting, knee squats, shuffling front and backwards, assisting with carrying a person, assisting a person to the floor, stabilizing people in standing, seated, prone and supine positions.

Requirements

• Required education and experience - Must be a graduate of a RN nursing program. Must have and maintain CPR and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills certification within three months of hire.
• Preferred education and experience - preferred minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in psychiatric or pediatric nursing.
