We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our Lung Cancer Program recently recognized as a Center of Excellence by GO2 for Lung Cancer , reflecting the exceptional quality of care we provide and our innovative approach to identifying lung cancer at its earliest, most treatable stages.

Position Highlights

• Play an important role in early detection and evaluation of lung cancer.
• Monday through Friday schedule.
• 100% outpatient. No nights, weekends, or hospital call responsibilities.
• Focus on evaluation and management of patients through our centralized lung screening and incidental nodule management program.
• Work collaboratively with Pulmonology, Thoracic Surgery, Oncology, Nurse Navigators, and Lung Nodule Program Coordinators.
• Participate in a highly coordinated, patient-centered model of care.
• Work alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
• NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
• At least 2 years of Advanced Practice experience, preferably in pulmonology, oncology, or thoracic surgery.
• Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and BLS certification required.
