Quality Nurse (RN) Specialist

Position Summary

• Apply improvement methods to achieve successful outcomes: Use evidence-based structured improvement methods for all quality improvement projects.
• Promote the use of improvement methods and science throughout the organization.
• Support the use of a standard improvement method throughout the organization.
• Coach others on the implementation of improvement methods.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher is required
• Active RN license is required.
• Must have 5 years or more experience in healthcare field
• Certification in specialty preferred within 3 years and maintained thereafter.

• This onsite position is part-time (20hrs/week) - Monday, Wednesday, Friday (6.5 -7hrs day)

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital serves as a campus of ECU Health Medical Center. The 142-bed full-service hospital is located in Washington and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. It is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year, as well as the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center – a provider of leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services. ECU Health Beaufort also offers general medical and surgical services, operative services, a women’s birthing center, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.
