Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,947 a week in all, a taxable rate of $25 an hour plus $1,046.91 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Telemetry Nurse (RN) – Simi Valley, California - This telemetry nursing position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing activities of various levels of nursing staff, while collaborating with other disciplines to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a safe and healing environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification; National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
  • Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient progress, collaborates with healthcare team members, provides education to patients and families, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Additional Information: The position requires compliance with organizational vaccination policies and participation in E-Verify. Experience with Epic electronic medical records is required, and holiday RTO will not be approved.
