Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,101 a week in all, a taxable rate of $23.17 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse located in an unspecified area. The role involves providing critical care for adult patients with complex needs, including ventilated patients, post-surgical patients, and those requiring advanced monitoring and support. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) are required.
• Education and Experience: 24 months of recent/current ICU experience required; 24 years of experience specified; Iowa license or compact/multistate license required.
• Schedule: Days shift, with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements: Active Iowa license, documentation of Driver's License, and skills specific to ICU/Nursing discipline required.
• Responsibilities include managing ICU patient care involving ventilators, Bipap, Airvo, and various drips such as propofol, leveophed, diliazem, insulin, and heparin.
• Candidate must demonstrate experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record system, and are expected to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
• Fluency in telehealth measures and certifications, such as NIHSS, preferred but can be obtained during onboarding.
