Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per organization policy; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS; Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI); National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale; Experience in acute care facility preferred; experience requirement: 0 years.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position requires providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment, participating in discharge planning, delegating appropriately, and performing other relevant duties as assigned. All applicants must have experience with EPIC electronic health record system; holiday RTO may not be approved.
