Mid shift: 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Job Description

Join the emergency room team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The unit supports a diverse patient population and requires comprehensive care experience, particularly in emergency settings. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Document patient interactions and care accurately in the charting system.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and emergency procedures.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in an emergency room.
  • Active, permanent Ohio license or compact state license at the time of submission.
  • Prior charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
