Day shift, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 12 hours of call per week is required.

Job Description

The Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive care to dialysis patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment to ensure the safe delivery of care, maintain clinical competencies, and provide direction to assigned personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to dialysis patients and ensure their well-being.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership in planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff experience and education.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient nursing experience.
• Experience with the Tablo dialysis device is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Active RN license required.
