This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift: Rotating, with on-call weekends approximately once a month.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy services that address impairments and functional limitations, ultimately improving the patient's quality of life following injury or disease. The therapist will consider the patient's gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs during the assessment and treatment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough physical therapy assessments to identify patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and records.

Required Experience

  • Completion of a professional course of education accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Montana and BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients.

Certifications/Licensure

  • Active Physical Therapist License in Montana.
  • BLS certification.
