Schedule/Shift
Schedule: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 10-hour nights, 4 days a week
Job Description
The Medical Technologist in the Clinical Laboratory will be responsible for specimen testing and analysis in a clinical lab setting. The role requires expertise in blood bank procedures, chemistry, and limited microbiology services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of various specimens.
- Ensure quality control and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean lab environment.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong background in blood bank, chemistry, and limited microbiology.
Certifications/Licensure
- Must possess one of the following certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS.
