ARMStaffing is looking for a Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Hickory, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

4 ten-hour shifts per week, from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM. Call required on weekends, 7 days per month (including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will work in the Operating Room at Frye Regional Medical Center. The focus will be on assisting in surgical procedures and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses in surgical operations.
• Handle and pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
• Maintain equipment and assist in ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Document procedures and assist in patient care as needed.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in surgical technology, with exposure to multiple specialties preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Surgical Technology diploma or certification is required. Preferred certification in Ortho or Neuro specialties.
