Travel X-Ray Tech - Salem, MA

This travel X-Ray Tech job in Salem, MA with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel X-Ray Tech contract at NSMC Salem Hospital. This role pays $2,261 per week and follows a Mids shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this travel X-Ray Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform ordered diagnostic X-ray exams across the assigned caseload
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting technique and collimation for each study
• Apply radiation-safety practices, including exposure optimization and ALARA principles
• Critique images for positioning and exposure quality, minimizing repeat exposures, and provide completed studies to radiologists

Travel X-Ray Tech Requirements

• 2+ years of recent X-Ray Tech experience
• Must hold all required X-Ray Tech certifications and licenses as mandated by Massachusetts and national regulatory bodies

NSMC Salem Hospital - Salem, MA

Salem Hospital is a Mass General Brigham community hospital serving Massachusetts' North Shore. Its Salem campus brings emergency care, medical and surgical treatment, and inpatient behavioral health services into one hospital setting.

Imaging services include CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, along with interventional radiology and pediatric imaging at the hospital's Highland Avenue campus.
