About the job

Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist Location: Tucson, AZ Palo Verde Behavioral Health has a longstanding reputation for stability in mental health and substance-use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized, inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents. Position Details: Patient population: General inpatient adult.

Manageable caseload: Average of 15 total patient encounters per day. Position type: Full time, 1099 independent contractor preferred (W-2 optional). Schedule: Monday–Friday, days only. Evening call: Once per week, phone only. Weekends: Average 1:4 weekend rounding split amongst the team. Benefits and Compensation (Benefits package offered for W-2 employed only): Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available.

Bonus: Additional earnings through potential via Productivity Bonus and additional weekend coverage and evening call. Robust Benefit Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/ Company Match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, ST/LT Disability, and more. Paid-Time Off: 26 days per year CME Package: 5 paid CME days per year + reimbursement for related expenses.

Licenses & Dues reimbursement Requirements: MD/DO degree from an accredited program required. Board certified or board eligible General Psychiatry. Arizona medical license or the ability to obtain an Arizona medical license.
