Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Correctional Medicine

MetroHealth's Correctional Medicine Program is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team at the Cuyahoga County Jail. This unique opportunity allows providers to deliver comprehensive care to medically complex patient populations while practicing in a collaborative, mission-driven environment dedicated to improving community health.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will care for a medically diverse patient population with a broad range of acute and chronic conditions requiring expertise in general and urgent care medicine. Providers manage chronic disease, acute illnesses, urgent care presentations, preventive care needs, and complex health concerns while working closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers a high degree of clinical autonomy and is ideal for providers who enjoy practicing at the top of their license while making a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable populations.

The position offers a primarily day-shift schedule with shared rotating weekend, on-call, and holiday coverage, supporting a healthy work-life balance while ensuring continuity of care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

If you have a passion for caring for the underserved and appreciate the challenge of a setting where presentations may mask deeper medical concerns, we encourage you to apply.
